Irelands first recycled plastic gate!

A new product for us, a gate made completely from recycled plastic. A range of designs will soon be available. This gate is 1.1m high, to fit 3.65m gap (12ft) and comes complete with hangers, dropbolts and locking latch.

Price €750 fitted.

Curved T+G Plastic Gates

A set of gates that we have just fitted in Clonsilla in Dubin. These are a metal framed gate but with a curved metal top and recycled plastic boards. We also fitted some window boxes to make them a little bit special!

High level netting at Cappataggle GAA all weather pitch

Another new product/service from LCI, high level netting for sports pitches. In this case the net ontop of the wall is 5m high with 50mm sq net. We manufactured and fitted the support steel work, tensioning cables and fitted nets supplied by the club.

Budget Gates, The Burren, Co Clare

A set of budget gates fitted near Kinvara. These included hanging postings and were concreted into place.

Entrance Gates, Kiltmagh, Co Mayo

Fitted a set of entrance gates in Kiltmagh yesterday. The same materials as our budget gates only with some extra designs. The gate was galvanised and then finished in 2 pack paint.

Sign Trailer

We were asked by a friend to build a sign trailer, to keep costs down we resurected an old single axle trailer with bettle hubs no less. Rachet straps and 'ballast' were used tp protect against wind.

Our latest gate with recycled plastic boards. Metal framed gate with wicket gate on one side incorporating Locinx lock.

Curved top gate with double curve, spear on top rail, spears on mid rail, collors on infill bars, infill bar 16mm Diameter.

A set of our Budget double entrance gates and budget wicket gate.

Contempory Gates, Milltownpass, Co Westmeath

A contempory set of gates with stone inset as a centre piece. The gates are also automated with keypad, remote and intercom entry. These gates were designed and made another Galway company, Red Hill Sculpture, owned by metalwork artist Donnacha Cahill, for more of his work and creations check out his website www.redhillsculpture.com




A problem faced by many after the installation of automatic gates is your post!! In this case we fitted a stainless steel post box. This can be provided with text cut in the front to suit e.g. family names, Post etc.




Finally some fitting jobs require special effort, like trying to retrieve a spanner at the bottom of a hollow pillar - headfirst of course!

BUDGET GATES

Our new range of budget entrance gates, they come in standard sizes to suit most openings. They can also be easily customised for some additional and individual flair. They are supplied galvanised making them virtually maintenance free.

Balcony and balustrade, Milltownpass, Co Westmeath

Over the weekend, we installed a balcony in a timber frame house flat roof. The balustrade was design and made by Donnacha Cahill (www.redhillsculpture.com), we design the support steelwork for the baustrade and decking. The challenge here was to create something that would not require too much fixing to existing structures.

Recycled plastic gates, Enniscrone, Co Sligo

More gates with recycled plastic gates, this time we used a number of colours and set the boards diagionally.

Large Sliding gate and side (wicket) gate fitted in Louisburg, Co Mayo. We used recycled plastic, tongue and groove boards as infill for these gates.
